Winternights 1997

*This report was originally written by Erich, the founder of our Hall. It has been reposted here in an effort to collect all our resources on our new site.

Winternights was held on Friday, October 31st, in Albuquerque. The weather was absolutely wonderful and the warm winds and clear sky greatly added to the overall feeling of the Blot. It focused on these points; honoring the Gods and Goddesses, especially the Vanir, for he gifts and Harvest they have given us, taking stock of our actions and events over the past year, overcoming obstacles, and the importance of continuance. This blot served to promote a feeling of solidity and determination within our group. The Gods and Goddesses were rightly hailed, and food and drink rightly sacrificed. Overall, it was a great success. You can read the actual text of this Winternights rite here: A Short Winternights Rite.
